Silent Book Club West Chester at the YMCA

For the May Silent Book Club meetup, we’re going to try something different at the Oscar Lasko YMCA. Are you a member? (You don’t have to be to attend.) If not, this is a good chance to check out what the Oscar Lasko YMCA and Childcare Center has to offer downtown. They recently remodeled their lobby and it’s so nice — of course my first thought when I saw it was, ‘It would be cool to see people reading here!’

For this meetup, please bring a portable chair (if you don’t have one, there are limited chairs available, but this will enable us to spread out throughout the lobby area). You can bring a drink or a snack as well. Please note that you MUST bring a photo ID to be admitted into the YMCA. 

**Friday, May 8 12:15 - 2:15 PM**

12:15 - 12:45: Arrive, check in (the YMCA requires a photo ID), and settle in.

12:45 - 1:45: Quiet Reading Hour.

1:45 - 2:15: Chat with your fellow book readers, keep reading, or head out.

If you’re working that day, this could be a great way to take your lunch break on a Friday (or be like me and take some Reading Time Off… I’ve included a very official note for you).
