Join us for our first Silent Book Club meet up of April. We’ll convene at Gabby’s Cafe, located inside Talsma. Gabby’s has permission to use the furniture in its cafe space and there is a nice combination of comfy couches and chairs.
What is Silent Book Club? Founded in 2012, SBC is an international movement with over 1,000 chapters worldwide. Also known as the introvert’s happy hour, these twice monthly meet ups at venues around the greater Grand Rapids area allow you to get out with whatever you’re reading, discuss books with other like-minded people, or simply keep to yourself and enjoy the company of others.
We will break at 1:30 and have a discussion about what we’re reading. In the spirit of keeping this a true ‘introvert’s happy hour,’ participation is optional.
While SBC meets are free to attend, please remember to support any local business opening their space up to us so we can convene. See you then!
