Join us in an untraditional book club meeting! Bring any book, magazine, eBook, comic book, textbook, etc. that you are currently reading for an evening of brief socializing, quiet reading, and comfortable atmosphere. (*This is a ZERO judgment zone on book genres.)
Schedule:
6-6:30 p.m. - Arrive, grab a drink and/or snack, get comfy, and mingle with fellow book lovers, share what you’re reading (optional)
6:30-7:30 p.m. - Quiet reading hour
7:30-8 p.m. - Optional socializing, or just keep reading
What exactly is Silent Book Club?
At Silent Book Club, everyone is welcome. Come alone or with a friend. There is no assigned reading. Simply grab your book/text of choice and join us for a brief social period then sit in companionable silence with your current read. After an hour of quiet reading, you can stay and socialize more or head out.
