Silent Book Club is a gathering of people who like to be out and about while reading. It's a book club without the obligation to read a certain book or answer discussion questions. Basically, you just sit around and read in a cozy atmosphere with fellow bookworms.
Silent Book Club will be held every first and third Mondays for two session each day: noon to 2 pm and then another one from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Participants will focus on their reading during the time slot and then are welcome to chit chat afterwards if they'd like. Come late, leave early -- this is a super casual meet-up designed to fit your schedule!
What to bring:
Bring what you're reading (or pick out something new at the store). The store will be open for business during the club and there is background noise so if you need a lot of quiet to concentrate, bring your headphones or earplugs.
Libations:
Feel free to get a juice, pop, wine, or beer at the bookshop bar.
Cost:
Free! But of course we appreciate you making purchases from the bookshop on occasion so we can keep events like this going.
