Get ready to let go of stress and tension in a calming manner surrounded by nature and in silence!

Children naturally do it so easily....

They use their bodies fully to express their emotions... for example if they fall down and hurt themselves they cry and hold the hurt area until they get tended to.

However, more often than not, it is in childhood when we, as children, start being told that this type of self expression is not always acceptable. We become adults and learn that in order to be accepted and be a part of society that we need to act in certain ways...just to fit in and get our needs met. We learn to disown our primal nature to express fully our emotions:we repress, suppress, disown our feelings and emotions and become logically and mentally centred.

We face a predicament: in order to "fit in" we sacrifice our true nature or authenticity for the need to connect. But feelings are not burdensome things we need to put up with. They are indicators of what matters to us or what is important or to us or what is right for us. Feelings are our compass and the most valuable tool for survival. If we disconnect from our feelings then we are cut off from our intuition which is where we have access to information that is not readily accessible via the mind/brain. The systematic habit of only connecting with the mind (which is how society is set up), means that something valuable is lost...a disintegration occurs, and this set us up for a much harder way to manoevre through life and it's challenges.

Fundamentally, we stop accessing our vitality and so our life force starts to get stagnant and we start to become emotionally congested.

Emotions are energy.

Energy needs to keep moving, if it becomes stagnant this affects the ecosystem that is us, human beings.

So where do we start and what can be done?

The first step is always to connect with the self deeply and reclaim our authentic nature, but we also have a responsibility to move old stagnant energy blockages in the body and learn new ways to keep ourselves open to the life force and vitality that is gifted to us as part of our human experience and journey.

📋WHAT IS THIS EVENT ABOUT?

A retreat is essentially time away from our everyday lives, whether we need a break from work or the children, or are recovering from a break-up or a personal loss. Whatever you need time off from, a retreat offers an escape to regain yourself, regain control of your life, and discover things about yourself you never knew. A mini retreat therefore is for those that don't have alot of time because they are busy or have alot of commitments but want to make self care and time away with nature, with themselves and others a priority. So instead of spending a whole day or several days away in a retreat, what is being offered are a few hours of respite from the daily pressures of life.

The aim is to:

  • become silent
  • connect to the body and hear what it needs to release and what it needs as nourishment.
  • with the backdrop of nature as a healer and inspiration this will lead to asttendees finding ways to deeply release blocked, unexpressed emotions and learn how to make space for greater health and vitality.

This is not easy, or done in one go because we have to release old patterns and learn new ways to connect to ourselves in healthier ways. But the effort always pays off in significant ways, if the commitment is there to make these changes.

As a , I will be running this 2 hours Mini Retreat for anyone who feels that they have run out of options with self help, therapy, life coaching and generally just trying to use their minds to "fix" themselves. This silent mini retreat is a deep dive into true transformational change that gets to the core of healing. The retreat will be guided by me, to ensure all attendees get the maximum benefit from this silent mini retreat, in connecting to their bodies, in deeper and more meaningful ways . This event will be predominantly a sitting event but there will also be some walking(lesiurely pace to suit all fitness levels)involved as well.

👍This event will take place in a gorgeous nature setting in Wallington, South London.

🔍WHO IS THIS EVENT SUITABLE FOR?

Adult men and women over 18s that are intent on doing some deep dive work within the 2 hours and are willing to embrace the process of stillness.

This 2 hour silence and emotional release mini retreat is for anyone who is looking for a space to connect with silence and learn to connect to their bodies in nature.
