Sijya & Tech Quartet Present Leather & Brass

Step into a performance that shifts with the space and draws you in, as South Asian artist Sijya presents her new EP Leather & Brass Live, featuring immersive lighting design by Delhi’s Tech Quartet.  

Marking the release of her upcoming EP 'Leather & Brass', South Asian composer, producer, and visual artist Sijya presents a striking new live experience that deepens her exploration of raw emotion and sonic texture. Known for her immersive blend of ambient, art pop, and downtempo, Sijya’s evolving sound takes a darker turn – distorted synths, stripped vocals, and analogue grit shaping this next chapter.

 
For this powerful presentation she collaborates with Delhi-based lighting collective Tech Quartet, whose minimalist, mood-driven scenography adapts to each venue, transforming the space into a site-specific installation. Together, they create a tightly woven sensory experience where music and light move in quiet synchrony, drawing audiences into an emotionally charged shared space.

 
Following acclaimed releases on Accidental Records and now One Little Independent (home to Björk, Laura Misch, Nadah El Shazly), Sijya continues to emerge as a distinctive voice from South Asia’s alternative music scene – resisting form, embracing feeling, and redefining the possibilities of live performance.
