This is a norse-style gala and immersive dining experience, reviving the ancient cultural holiday that is held at the beginning of the summer season to celebrate the victory of life over death, as we pursue the same. By acknowledging our ancestral ways, we strive to offer access to this resurrected tradition today, as if the old ways were allowed to thrive for the past 1000 years, uninterrupted by alternative ideologies.

Menu
Primary Course: fava beans whipped with herbs and served with a barley crisp
Secondary Course: light vegetable stew served over herring fillet
Tertiary Course: turnip and parsnip rye shelled tart topped with thin apples and mint
Main Course: whole roast goat (cut determined by seating tier)
Finishing Course: blended oat and pear custard topped with plum, cherry and toasted linseed
Each course will be paired with a local craft fermented drink. The producers of these drinks will be announced leading up to the feast, but the drinks themselves will be announced at the feast.
This event will be hosted in Chisago City. Specific address will be given to guests of the feast.
Please dress in your finest feasting attire, as that applies to you individually.
