Signposts to the Cross
About this Event
For the 6th annual conference at Grace Anglican Church, we will be reflecting on "the fullness of time" when the Apostle Paul says that "God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law." A study of ancient myths, Greek philosophy, the OId Testament, and the historical developments of the intertestamental period testify to the veracity of Paul's statement. We will be examining how the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ proved to be the missing piece in the mythologies, philosophies, histories, and legal codes of the ancient world. It was, as JRR Tolkien, would speak of it, the "true myth", the ultimate reality toward which all myths point. In both, God's general revelation to the Gentile world and His special revelation to the Hebrews, we see signposts that direct us toward the cross.
Join us on October 9th and 10th as we hear from Mr. Andy Giessman, Dr. Josh Arp, Rev. Taylor Bradley, and Rev. Jared Lovell and investigate the Signposts to the Cross. As always, Elrond's Feast will be provided at no additional cost and offer a wonderful opportunity for fellowship!
