wed 25th february at @signals_ambient brings another quiet banger to the upstairs space at Kent St Bar

@meredithbeardmore is a flute player across baroque, folk, and improvised music. playing exclusively wooden, simple system flutes, she finds nuance, immediacy, and tactility, enjoying pushing these old instruments in new directions and combining them with field recordings & sound manipulations… yep sounds like our jam..
@k8 m055 explores the transformative potential of music through narrative driven soundscapes. A deeply personal collage of contradiction, confession, popular music and found sound.. a recommend from inside the sigs fam, can’t wait to check ‘em out..
and a novel collb from some familiar faces: @gigawattvertigo aka Norm Michailidis returns to the signals stage with co-curator @ok.ruffles aka Kieran Ruffles for new project “bonvivant” which will stretch post-modern guitar practice thru an ambient electronic convex lens.. who knows what might happen..
