Painters create calling cards, quilters sew on
labels, embroiderers stitch their initials into their work and
sewists have garment tags, but knitters often don’t “sign”
their work. In this class you will learn ways to add your ini-
tials and date into your projects. We will cover three meth-
ods for signing your knits - custom charts, duplicate stitch-
ing and pattern modifications that can be used in steeks,
folded hems and cuffs. These methods eliminate the need
for scratchy labels that can fall off. Participants should know how to cast on, knit and bind off.
