THE SIGLO SECTION BIG BANDCardiff’s Hottest Big Band! This 18-piece powerhouse is revitalising the big band tradition, bringing a new, youthful energy to performances of the best music ever written. As the 2020s roll on, the century comes back around with jazz having a resurgence. This outfit plays all the classic big band rep, but their concerts also include modern funk pieces, and some original compositions and arrangements from the pen of Loz and Matt. The big band has seats for 5 saxes, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones and a full rhythm section, plus they often perform with 2 vocalists to show off local talents old and new.
