Kia ora and welcome to SIDG Seasonals 2026 | Spring Seasonal – Spore, presented by Discmania!
This is a single disc event. Three scored rounds at Ascot on Sunday 29 November, every hole, one disc — a Discmania Spore. That’s the whole rule. Any Spore counts: new, used, prototype, base, Soft, Neo Soft, Lumen glow, Lux Vapor. Plastic and age don’t matter, as long as it’s a Discmania Spore.
The player pack is where you get the good one. A custom event stamped Discmania Neo Lumen Spore — premium glow plastic, exclusive SIDG event stamp designed for this event only, and it lights up. Check the images on this page for a preview, and there’s a look at it in our Discord too. The pack also comes with sponsor and brand goodies and a free raffle entry.
The format: three rounds on a custom Ascot layout. Round 1 mixed cards (non scoring - learning), Round 2 re-mixed cards (scoring), Round 3 divisional cards (scoring). Lunch in the middle with a fun Ace and CTP challenge, Empire Chicken and Rad Roasting on site. Raffle, Ace Kitty, spot prizes, then prizegiving.
Divisions and evidence: pick your best guess at checkout — it isn’t final. Div1 to Div6 are all the same fee, so being moved costs you nothing. What actually places you is the Division Evidence field, and the most useful thing you can give us is your scoring on Ascot Reds/Shorts if you’ve played them — roughly par 58 over eighteen holes, around 1.4 kilometres. That’s the closest comparison to what you’ll play on the day. If you haven’t played Ascot, give us the strongest evidence you have from anywhere else and we’ll work with it.
GE — General Entry is our social tier at a lower fee. Everything on the day except divisional prizes. Because the fee is different, GE is a fixed choice once you register.
Early bird: save five dollars if you register in the first week, until Sunday 6 September.
Raffle
Every registered player gets one free ticket, redeemed at HQ on the day. Extra tickets are $2 each, or 5 for $10 and you get a sixth free. Buy as many as you like. There's no picking a prize when you buy. All tickets go into one draw. We pull a name, that person walks up and picks any prize they want from the table. Then we pull the next name, and so on until the table's empty. One prize per player — once you've won, your remaining tickets come out of the draw.
A reminder — strictly ZERO alcohol during our events, up to and including prize giving. This is for many reasons, and must be respected.
