We’d love for you to join us at one of our monthly volunteer trainings to learn about the different ways you can be involved in helping our riders, veterans, and horses at SoléAna Stables. Please follow one of the links below to fill out our online Volunteer Application before the training:

Our Saturday training has two parts. The sidewalker training is for volunteers new to our program who would like to be trained to assist our riders as a sidewalker in our therapeutic riding lessons (training time is 11-1:30pm) The horse leader part of the training is for current sidewalkers who are interested in being trained to lead the horse in our lessons. (Training time is 12-1:30pm) For the sidewalker training, you will get to tour our barn, meet our therapy horses, learn more about our program, and have hands-on opportunities to learn and practice the necessary skills to volunteer as a sidewalker. This training is the first step for any volunteers who are also interested in later being trained as horse leaders in our therapeutic riding lessons.

-If Saturday trainings don’t work with your schedule, we understand and we’d love to figure out a day that works for you to come out and be trained. Please reach out to Laura with any questions or to schedule an alternate training day.
-If you have a group or organization that might be interested in volunteering with us, we are also available for group presentations to share more about our volunteer opportunities.
