The return of the LOTR doubles event to Group North!
A 3 round, 1 day tournament for Lord of the Rings to be held at the Group North Wargaming Club hall!

Good chance for beginners and veterans! We have the biggest venue in SA and would be awesome to have it filled with as many tables of Middle Earth as we can again.

This will be 2v2 format, so grab a friend and find a team mate and start working out those 1000pt team lists!
3 scenarios from the matched play book doubles scenarios.
On full 6x4 boards
500pts per player, selected from normal list building restrictions.
This is going to be a bit different to the current rule book alliance system. I am close to finishing the Allies Matrix to the current edition (with the new factions and faction names).
There will be:
Historical Allies
Allies of convenience
Impossible Allies
The only hardline restriction is that both lists in the team must both be Good and Good. Evil and Evil. No Good and Evil armies together.
If you need help finding a team mate then don't be afraid to reach out, we will organise and find you a team mate on the day!
