Si! Lantro Festival

City of Brownsville's Health, Wellness, and Animal Services department is excited to announce the launch of Brownsville’s first-ever Si! Lantro Festival, taking place during the Brownsville Farmers Market on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Si! Lantro is not a celebration of cilantro, but rather a holistic approach to wellness and community.

The name reflects:

Si: inspired by “Sí, se puede” - represents positivity, possibility, and saying “yes” to healthy choices.
Lantro: defined as a person striving to become the best version of themselves while collaborating with others. This community-centered event will highlight creative and engaging ways to experience green vegetables through live food demonstrations and interactive activities for the whole family.
