About this Event
Did you know that there are over 450 species of bees in New York state? With an experienced guide from The Bee Conservancy, you will explore the habitat around Clove Lakes Park learning about and looking for local pollinators and the plants and habitats that support them. You’ll discover where bees might want to nest, what plants they visit, and more! Come observe and explore nature from the point of view of your pollinator neighbors.
This is an outdoor event. Please wear comfortable attire and shoes, and bring items you may need for an outdoor experience, such as a water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, or hat.
The Bee Conservancy is a non-profit based in NYC with a mission to protect all bees and foster thriving food and ecosystems through community-based education, research, habitat creation, and advocacy in urban and underserved areas.
