About this Event
Celebrate the 6th annual BC Trails Day, with the Shuswap Trail Alliance, at the South Canoe Trailhead. The trails within the Shuswap are a success, in large part, due to our municipal and regional partners, the trail volunteers, stewards, and users. The collaboration between governments, organizations, and multiple user groups is something to commemorate and the Shuswap Trail Alliance would like the opportunity to celebrate the trails with the people who make them possible.
Skinny Leonard is made up of a collection of music industry veterans with more that 150 years of experience between them. Having performed, toured, recorded, won and been nominated for awards including, Junos, Best vocalist, Best drummer, etc...... Having shared the stage with the likes of Johnny Winter, Otis Rush, Taj Mahal, Colin James, Buddy Miles, Honeymoon Suite, Harlequin, Nazareth, Kim Mitchell, just to name a few, these guys bring the 70s classic rock, the entertainment, experience, musicianship and fun.
Skinny Leonard features Chris Gilburg (vocals), Anthony Della Croce (guitar/vocals), Rylan Eamon Wood (drums/percussion), Jay Stevens (bass/vocals), and Michael Schau (guitar/vocals).
Born in the heart of British Columbiaβs Shuswap region, opening band a Million Dollars in Pennies is a Canadian folk duo known for their harmony-driven storytelling and high-stakes musical adventures. Composed of partners Mike and Steph Shaver, the band has built a reputation for blending traditional acoustic folk with elements of country, rock, and roots music.
There will be a beverage garden featuring the Barley Station, Shuswap Cider co., and Sunnybrae Winery along with food trucks.
