Join us for an unforgettable evening as Edison House presents the second installment of the Shrine Series, a special tribute to Black History Month, celebrating the changemakers, artists, and visionaries who have shaped history and culture.

In partnership with the Utah Black Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the Edison House BIPOC Club, this event is designed to inspire meaningful connection and reflection through powerful storytelling, live music, and community celebration.

Event Highlights
— Panel Speakers: Engage with local leaders, including a welcome from Utah Black Chamber President & CEO, Dr. Sidni Shorter, as we explore themes of progress and creativity in the Black community.
— Live Music in the Speakeasy: A vibrant mix of performances celebrating Black musical traditions, from jazz to soul and beyond.
— Special Vinyl Collection: Enjoy a curated selection of jazz, blues, hip-hop, and R&B vinyl records honoring Black musical icons in the Billiards Room.

The Shrine
Throughout February, Edison House members have contributed to a living tribute on the grand staircase, honoring Black excellence. For this special evening, the shrine will be reimagined and expanded into the Jazz Parlor, creating an immersive, visually stunning centerpiece for the night’s festivities.

Tickets & Proceeds
A limited number of tickets are available for non-members through Eventbrite. All proceeds will benefit the Utah Black Chamber of Commerce, supporting their continued impact on the community.
