Shreveport Rehab Hospital: Stroke Support Group

Join us at Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital for our Stroke Support Group, the last Wednesday of every month! This is a gathering created for stroke survivors, caregivers, families, and anyone affected by stroke. This monthly event provides education, encouragement, and connection in a supportive environment where attendees can share experiences, learn practical recovery strategies, and build relationships with others navigating similar journeys. Each session may include guest speakers such as rehabilitation specialists, neurologists, therapists, or community advocates discussing stroke prevention, recovery resources, adaptive living, and wellness after stroke. Whether you are newly recovering, years into your journey, or supporting a loved one, this group offers valuable insight, hope, and community in a compassionate setting. All are welcome.
