It follows Shrek, an ogre who lives a solitary life in his swamp until his world is disrupted by a group of fairy-tale creatures banished by the tyrannical Lord Farquaad. To reclaim his swamp, Shrek agrees to rescue Princess Fiona from a dragon-guarded castle. With the help of his chatty sidekick, Donkey, Shrek faces various challenges and adventures. As Shrek and Fiona fall in love, they confront Farquaad’s schemes, leading to a joyful ending where they both embrace their true selves and find happiness together. The musical features humor, catchy songs, and a heartwarming message about self-acceptance and love.
Tickets are $5 for students (high school and under), $8 for college students, $15 for adults.
