Get ready to race, connect, and celebrate with SHPE DC! Join us for an exciting evening of go-kart racing followed by a relaxed social hour where you’ll have the chance to meet the new SHPE DC leadership team.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 13, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at K1 Speed in Manassas, VA, located at Manassas Mall. Whether you’re a long-time member or new to the community, this event is the perfect opportunity to build connections, expand your network, and learn more about what SHPE DC has planned for the year ahead—all in a fun and energetic setting.
Come for the speed, stay for the conversations, and leave with new connections. No racing experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm!

Ticket Information
Racer Ticket: $40.00 (includes all registration and processing fees)
The Racer Ticket includes participation in the go-kart racing activities and access to the networking and social portion of the event. The ticket price is all-inclusive, with no additional fees charged at checkout.
Only 15 Racer Tickets are available for the racing portion of the event. Once all racer spots are filled, additional guests are still welcome to join us for the social and networking portion of the evening, but will not be able to participate as drivers.
Payment is required to reserve a racer spot.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available only for cancellations made more than 6 days before the event. Because the SHPE DC Professional Chapter reserves and pays for participant spots in advance, attendees who cancel within 6 days of the event or do not attend are responsible for reimbursing the chapter $40.00 for the cost of their reserved spot.
Required Acknowledgment
☐ I acknowledge and agree that by registering for the SHPE DC Go-Kart Racing: Meet the New Board event at K1 Speed Manassas, I am reserving a spot that is paid for in advance by the SHPE DC Professional Chapter. I understand that refunds are available only for cancellations made more than 6 days before the event. If I cancel within 6 days of the event or do not attend, I agree to reimburse the SHPE DC Professional Chapter $40.00 to cover the cost of my reserved spot.
A follow-up email will be sent to all registered attendees with event details, arrival instructions, racing information, and other important updates prior to the event.
