Kitten season has arrived, bringing with it an urgent—and incredibly important—time for our shelter. As part of our special “Shower the Shelter Babies” event, we’re preparing for an influx of tiny, fragile kittens who rely on round-the-clock care to survive. These “bottle babies” need constant feeding, warmth, and attention, and our nursery will soon be filled with them.
But it’s not just kittens who need us—puppies are also arriving in need of extra support, care, and supplies. From newborn litters to young pups still growing strong, these little ones require just as much love and attention as they begin their journey toward adoption.
To make sure we’re ready, we are working to fully stock our nursery throughout the month of April. Essential supplies include kitten formula (KMR), nursing bottles, wet kitten food, soft blankets, heating discs, paper towels, and unscented baby wipes. Puppy supplies such as puppy formula (esbilac), wet puppy food, blankets, and cleaning essentials are also in high demand. Every donation—big or small—helps give these vulnerable animals the best possible start in life.

These supplies go straight into the hands of our dedicated foster families, who provide around-the-clock care until the animals are healthy, strong, and ready for adoption.
