🎶SHOWCASE WITH BRETT BAKER AND NEWSTEAD BRASS🎶We’re delighted to announce our first concert of 2026 - “Showcase with Brett Baker and Newstead Brass” - taking place on Saturday 17th January at St Wilfrid’s Church, Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
The band are thrilled to welcome world-renowned trombone soloist Brett Baker as our guest for this special evening of music-making. Brett is widely recognised as one of the leading brass soloists of his generation. He is currently Principal Trombone of the world-famous Cory Band, and is well known for his long association with the Black Dyke Band, as well as his extensive international career as a performer, conductor and educator.
The concert will feature an exciting and varied programme that highlights both our guest soloist and the band - a perfect way to begin the new year with outstanding live brass music.
