On the April 3rd First Friday, we are dedicating the “Roots of Sylvania” mural in honor of our history and this year’s America 250 celebration. I am taking a leap of faith and expressing an urgent need that our community (and beyond) comes together to celebrate our light and the roots on which we were founded – with this North Star (our moral compass and light) - designed directly from the mural itself.
The Underground Railroad was crucial as a courageous resistance movement. And to this day, Sylvania, Ohio celebrates its history and position as a refuge and safe harbor during a very powerful and political climate.
My hope is that we can come together to remind Sylvania that we are still a refuge and safe Harbor today. Will you shine with me?
Wear your shirts and sweatshirts on April 3rd and let us fill this town with stars!

*All pick-ups will start April 2nd at Fuller Art House. SALE ENDS MARCH 20th
Fuller Art House will also host a star gathering exhibit and celebration after the dedication.
