Show Up for Small Business

Join the Office of Small Business for July's Show Up for Small Business, an ongoing collaboration with Better Portland, PIE, Latino Founders, Portland Metro Chamber and Built Oregon.

The idea is simple: We pick the spot. You support the businesses.

Every quarter, we’ll choose a spot in a different neighborhood or business district. Then, it's up to you to show up and do your part by shopping, grabbing a beverage, or dining at the small businesses in that area. No agenda. No speeches. Just all of us celebrating the amazing small businesses that make Portland unique.

In July we are headed to SE Portland, partnering with the Division Clinton Business District, and meeting at the ModHaus food cart pod on 3829 SE Division St. The new spot is home to Jojo PDX, Hawker Station, Makulit, Chick & Pig PDX, Shekinah Sushi, Le Fragole, Fabo’s Tacos, Burmese Corner, DesiPDX, and Shawarma Spot.

And while ModHaus is the event location, we encourage folks to also feel free to choose one of the other businesses on SE Division to check out including Scoreboard Sports Bar, Village Merchants, Taqueria Lindo Michoacan, Sckavone’s Restaurant, Marino Café, L’ Echelle, New Rose Tattoo, El Sazon De Mi Rancho, The Turning Peel Pizza, The Cornet Custard, Nakhon Sawan Thai Restaurant, Switchback Saloon, Chi Em MeKha Grill, Los Gorditos, Capes and Crepes Board Game Café, and Tokio Table.

These events are always free to attend but if you can, please RSVP just so we can get a general number to pass on to the businesses. We hope to see you on July 22nd.
