DTCDC SHOW & GO
PRE-ENTRIES ONLY ~ LIMITED TO 6 HOURS OF RING TIME
- The building is climate controlled,
- Has observation mirrors
- Exercise area
- Ample parking
- Soft drinks and water are for sale with many local fast food restaurants close by
- Club rule: No bitches in season are allowed in the DTCDC building for any reason.
CLASSES:
Utility ~ Graduate Open ~ Open ~ Graduate Novice ~ Novice ~ Beginner Novice
ENTRIES:
- Utility & Grad Open, Open & Grad Novice, Novice & Beginner Novice are each considered separate classes.
- ENTRIES: $9.00 first five minutes
- $1.00 each additional minute ~ (5-minute minimum/10-minute maximum)
- Entries close @ noon the Friday before the event or when ring-time limit has been reached
- A Run-Through schedule email will be sent after entries close or after limit has been reached
- Multiple entries of the same dog in the same class will only be taken if ring-time limit has not been reached for first time run throughs. See "Wait List" entries below.
- If Eventbrite shows “Sold-Out”, you may register for the “Wait-list” for first or second entries.
“Wait-list” entries:
- Taken via Eventbrite
- “Wait-list” availability closes @ 6 am the Wednesday before the Show & Go
- You have 8 hours to accept the move from the “Wait-list” email invitation.
- “Wait-list” invitations not accepted in this time-frame will be cancelled.
- If invitation time frame is missed, you are welcome to be re-added.
- Fees not due until moved off the “Wait-list” to “Registration Capability”.
- Fees paid via Eventbrite.
VOLUNTEERS:
- You DO NOT need to be a DTCDC member to volunteer.
- Volunteer for at least two hours and if you have a dog to run-through, you may receive up to 10 minutes of ring time and be able to crate in the building.
- You will help run dogs through, steward, assist in notifying exhibitors
- If you have not yet entered, email Margaret to volunteer before entering your dog.
- If you have already entered, we will refund the fees paid.
RING PROCEDURES:
Doors open at 7:30 am ~ Run throughs begin at promptly @ 8:00 am
- Ring time is yours to do with as you choose. You may combine exercises from different classes.
- Rings will be set up for the class level entered. Novice runs will most likely have jumps in the ring.
- Ring set-ups will be changed to reduce exhibitor time in the building.
Any entry may participate in Group Sit/Down Stay Exercise
- Refer to run-through schedule for Stay exercise time(s)
- If you are not entered in Novice, please make a comment on your entry or email Margaret to let her know you would like to be scheduled around Group Stays.
- You select the scheduled Group Stay closest to your ring time.
- You may participate in a scheduled Group Stay either before or after your ring time.
Please be aware:
Should we have to cancel a show, an email will be sent to this list AND a cancellation will be posted on the DTCDC website. Since we may have to cancel due to reasons other than weather, (gas leak, not enough helpers, etc.) you should always check for a notice before leaving home.

DIRECTIONS:
Driving south on Hwy 67: Take Danieldale Rd exit; stay on the access road. Turn right at the first street (South Alexander Avenue). Turn right on Crestside Drive. The Clubhouse is the first drive on the right. It is a white brick building with black paw prints across the front.
Driving north on Hwy 67: Take Cockrell Hill Rd exit turning left at the light onto Cockrell Hill Rd. Cross over Hwy 67 and turn left at the next light onto the frontage road going south. Then follow the directions above by turning right on South Alexander Avenue.
