Come together with the Joplin Family Y, Joplin Parks and Recreation, Joplin Fire Department, Redings Mill Fire Protection District, Wildcat Glades, Southwest Missouri Bank, The Alliance of SWMO, and Missouri Southern State University to champion water safety and drowning prevention.
Join us for an engaging event featuring interactive water safety stations covering essential topics including:
- Safe practices around water
- Swimming safety
- Maintaining health while enjoying aquatic activities
- Boating safety tips
Children and parents will rotate through each station, gaining valuable knowledge and even practicing newly acquired skills in the water. Every child will be provided with and fitted for a free life jacket, ensuring their safety on future aquatic adventures.
This event is tailored for children aged 5 to 12 years old and will take place on June 15th at Wildcat Park from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Spots are limited, so register now to secure your child's participation and receive a U.S. Coast Guard Approved Life Jacket for each registered attendee.
