Join us for the Shots for Freedom Summer Gala as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Colorado State Shooting Association and prepare for the fights in front of us.
For a century, CSSA has championed Colorado’s shooting sports, self-defense education and marksmanship programs, and advocated for the rights of responsible Coloradans across our state.
Today this work includes an intense and ongoing fight to defend your right to keep and bear arms from the State of Colorado and the anti-freedom politicians in power within it.
We are currently suing Governor Jared Polis and Attorney General Phil Weiser in Del Toro v. Polis to overturn the new permit-to-purchase semi-autos regime mandated by Senate Bill 25-003 (signed into law in 2025 and scheduled to take full effect on August 1, 2026).
We are also pursuing constitutional challenges to the excise tax on self-defense tools, the standard-capacity magazine ban, Denver's "assault weapons" ban, and the new bill allowing government agents to demand any arms transaction from any licensed seller at any time for any or no reason at all.
