Short Sales That Close™ | Half-Day Intensive for Agents
About this Event
Foreclosure filings are climbing again. Carrying costs are up, values have flattened, and buyers who purchased at the peak have little equity to fall back on.
Most agents will watch those files go to someone else, because nobody taught them what happens after the listing agreement is signed.
Short Sales That Close™ is a half-day working session that teaches you exactly that.
Not a continuing education lecture. Not a motivational seminar. A practical implementation workshop where every section ends with a tool you can use the same week.
What you'll learn
- Recognize the early indicators of homeowner financial distress
- Determine whether a homeowner is an appropriate short sale candidate
- Conduct structured, confident seller consultations
- Understand California's foreclosure timeline and where you have leverage
- Assemble and submit complete lender packages
- Prepare for BPOs and valuations so the number comes back right
- Work junior liens early, and read an approval letter line by line
- Avoid the compliance and ethical mistakes that create liability
- Build referral partnerships with attorneys, CPAs, and lenders who see distress first
- Implement a repeatable system that produces these listings every year
What you'll take home
Your registration includes the full implementation toolkit:
- Participant workbook with every framework taught in class
- Decision guide, six-question qualifier, and hardship worksheet
- Transaction workflow, timeline, and lender submission checklist
- Approval letter review checklist and compliance standard
- 30-day business plan and full digital library, QR access
The workbook is a working document, not a transcript of the slides.
