Together, these short animated and live action films look at things a little differently. Age 8-12+
LOLA & THE SOUND PIANO: Lola, 11, is sister to 5-year-old Simon, who lives in a world of his own. Noticing one day how sensitive he is to small, hidden sounds, she and her inventor friend decide to build a noise machine to communicate with him.
MOUSTACHE: Coco’s effort to find a surrogate father to attend a school sports event with her best friend Dalou tests their friendship in this tender tale.
TOUCHING DARKNESS: 10-year-old Vítek has special abilities – he can feel and hear what others cannot. This is a door to his world and shows us that the absence of one sense doesn’t have to be just an obstacle.
ART & AI: A short film by Adriana Turner of Cambridge’s Teen Media Program that asks the question: will artificial intelligence eliminate the need for human art?
CAPYBARAS: A family of capybaras seek refuge in a chicken coop, which leads to an unexpected union with the hens.
