Introducing the Short Film Club

Every city has filmmakers. They are the quiet observers, the dreamers, and the visual poets capturing fragments of the human experience on camera. Yet, more often than not, these local creators face a frustrating reality: most of them don’t have an audience.

Similarly, every city is teeming with unique stories. They live in the alleyways, the crowded buses, and the quiet corners of our minds. But unfortunately, most of these stories never get the deep, meaningful conversations they deserve. Film is a medium meant to be shared, dissected, and felt in a room full of people—not just scrolled past on a tiny smartphone screen.

This Friday, we are setting out to change that. We’re starting something simple, raw, and entirely focused on the love of the craft.

What is the Short Film Club?

This isn’t your typical movie night where you sit in the dark and leave the moment the lights come up. This is an evening dedicated entirely to independent cinema, student-led projects, experimental passion pieces, and grassroots stories that genuinely deserve a screen.

We are stripping away the commercial noise to focus on raw storytelling. Here is what the evening looks like:

• We’ll watch together: Experience a handpicked selection of short films that challenge, entertain, and inspire.
• We’ll talk together: Dive into what worked, what moved us, and what stayed with us long after the screen went black.

We believe that cinema is a two-way street. The filmmaker brings the spark, but the audience brings the flame. Because let’s be honest—sometimes the absolute best part of a film only begins after the credits roll. It happens in the debates, the shared laughter, and the quiet realizations that follow.
