About this Event
Course Overview
This course has been curated to gradually build skills in order to create a whole composition using a wide variety of tools that will enhance the songwriting and production experience as well as enforcing professional sounding work. By the end of the course, you will be confident to independently work with Digital Audio Workstations to create industry level music with a professional understanding of music production and distribution in the industry.
All production techniques will be delivered using the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) ‘Logic Pro’, which is a specific DAW to Apple. Even though this software is Apple specific, the fundamentals of production are easily applicable to other DAWs.
In addition to a guide through ‘Logic Pro’ and music production, there will be insight on the principles of good sound production etiquette alongside creativity in using production with songwriting. The course will also lightly cover distributing music, music law and songwriting credits as well as using services such as PRS, which are vital to songwriters and producers when they are ready to release the music that they have been creating.
