Working Hunter Classes
Entry Fee £12.50 per Class
Judge: Mrs Viv Cresswell
1. Small X poles. Open to junior or senior riders suitable for the horse or pony. Maybe on or off lead rein/assisted.
2. 40cm. Open to junior or senior riders suitable for the horse or pony. Maybe on or off lead rein/assisted.
3.50cm. Open to junior or senior riders suitable for the horse or pony. Maybe on or off lead rein/assisted.
4. 60cms. Open to junior or senior riders suitable for the horse or pony.
5. 70cms. Open to junior or senior riders suitable for the horse or pony.
6. 80cms. Open to junior or senior riders suitable for the horse or pony.
Classes 1-6 may be split if sufficient entries.
Rosettes to 6th Place in each class
1st and 2nd prize winners from classes 1-6 to come forward for the Working Hunter Championship
Champion and Reserve Champion to come forward to
Supreme Champion
Ridden and In Hand Showing Classes
Entry fee: £10 per Class

7. Best turned out. Ridden or In Hand, Open to Plaited, Native or Traditional.
8. Lead Rein. Mare/Gelding over 4 years old judged on suitability.
9. First ridden. 12 years and under on 1st January 2024. Mare/Gelding over 4 years old judged on suitability.
10. Novice Rider/Horse/Pony. Not to have won first prize at county level. Must show walk and trot and can canter in individual show if entrant would like to.
11. Veteran. Horse or Pony to be over 15 Years of age. Ridden or In Hand. (Class may be split if sufficient entries). Special. rosette to the oldest horse/pony.
12. Pony Club/Riding Club. Suitable for a range of activities, may be asked to jump.
13. M&M Ridden or In Hand. Open to all native breeds registered with the relevant society. (Class may be split if sufficient entries).
14. Coloured Ridden or In Hand (Class may be split if sufficient entries). Open to any coloured horse or pony including dun, palomino and spotted. Plaited, Native or Traditional.
15. Open Hunter. Light, Middle or Heavy weight hunter. To be shown at all paces.

1st and 2nd prize winners from classes 7-16 to come forward for the Ridden/In Hand Championship
Champion and Reserve Champion to come forward to Supreme Champion

RULES
· Aberhall Equestrian reserves the right to refuse entry without assigning any reason to any person attending the Show or to any ground connected with the Show.
· Aberhall equestrian reserves the right to cancel any part of or the whole of the Show without warning.
· Protective headgear of current safety standard MUST be worn by ANY PERSON mounted anywhere on the Showground and we also recommend wearing a current standard body protector for Working Hunter classes.
· All riders under 16yrs old must be accompanied on site by an adult.
· The Judges’ decision will be final at all times.
· No unauthorised person shall enter the Show Ring nor interfere with any Judge, Steward or Official during the course of their duties. Any person so doing will forfeit any entry fees paid and be requested to leave the Show.
· All objections must be lodged in writing with the Secretary within twenty minutes of completion of the class involved. A deposit of £20 must accompany the objection. The deposit will be refunded if the objection is sustained.
· It is the responsibility of Exhibitors participating in more than class to present them-selves promptly for judging. Please check the running order in Schedule before making entries ENTRY FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE.
· Exhibitors’ ages will be taken from 1st January of the year of the Show.
· All dogs must always be kept on leads.
· Please park lorries/trailers in the designated areas above the arena only, do not hang haynets outside lorries/trailers & do not muck out your lorry/trailer onto the lorry park – please use the scoop/bin provided.
· Please do not leave rubbish on any part of the site.
· Ridden Horse classes exhibits must be four years old or over. PASSPORTS MAY BE CHECKED RANDOMLY
· It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that their horses are free from any virus or disease such as strangles and are in general good health in order not to jeopardise the health of others. All horses and ponies visiting Aberhall Equestrian must be fully vaccinated against Equine influenza.
