What does happiness look like to you? On a 40-minute walk from the library to the lakefront, join fellow community members in being intentional about the things we see and how we feel. Borrow a disposable camera to capture images that spark joy, and you may see the photos you take on our “Happiness Walls” display.There will be two opportunities to walk. Join us for one (or both)! Walks will be held in light rain. In the event of severe weather, we will cancel.
Sunrise Walk: Meet outside in the Library Circle Lawn by 7:00am on March 13th
Afternoon Walk: Meet inside the Library Lobby by 12:00pm on March 13th
This program, achieved in partnership with the Shorewood Longevity Project, is part of Shorewood Reads, a "one book, one community initiative," with six weeks of programs, discussions, and shared stories, culminating in a day of events with the author on Thursday, April 23. This year's book is Happiness Falls by Angie Kim.
