For eight years, the Shoreline Music Summit has brought together artists, producers, music industry professionals, students, educators, and music fans for a day dedicated to strengthening the Pacific Northwest music community. This free annual gathering has become one of the region's most accessible opportunities to learn from industry leaders, build meaningful connections, and discover new pathways for a sustainable creative career.

Hosted by Sonic Guild Seattle in partnership with the City of Shoreline and community partners, the Summit is designed for anyone passionate about music, whether you're releasing your first song, booking your first tour, producing records, managing artists, or simply looking to deepen your connection to the local music ecosystem.

Why Attend?

The music industry is built on relationships.

Every year, attendees leave the Summit with new collaborators, mentors, creative ideas, and professional connections that continue long after the event ends.

Throughout the day, you'll hear from artists, producers, industry leaders, educators, and advocates through keynote conversations, breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and live performances designed to support long-term creative success.

Topics will include:

  • Audience growth and storytelling
  • Touring and live performance strategy
  • Music production and recording
  • Building a sustainable career
  • Mental health and creative longevity
  • Community building and collaboration
  • Industry trends and professional development

Full schedule and speaker announcements coming later this summer.

Experience the New Bracken Building

The 2026 Summit will take place inside Shoreline Community College's newly completed Bracken Building, a state-of-the-art facility designed to support music, technology, and interdisciplinary learning. The nearly 50,000-square-foot building brings together music and music technology programs under one roof, creating a collaborative environment built around creativity, innovation, and community.

As one of the first major public events hosted in the new space, Summit attendees will have the opportunity to experience Shoreline's newest educational and cultural hub firsthand.
