SAVE THE DATE! Tell your friends and make plans to shop small this holiday season.We're back for our 7th year and will be kicking off the crawl on Black Friday/Small Business Saturday but you'll have until December 20th to complete it or collect as many buttons as you can.
November 28 - December 20
Find unique gifts for your friends and family this holiday season + put money back into your local economy. There are both retail and some quick food spots on the crawl, so you can grab a snack while you're shopping.
What is it?
A fun way to encourage holiday shoppers to check out some of the unique small businesses in our area and maybe find a new-to-them shop.
How does it work?
Purchase a Shop Small Crawl tote bag. Totes will be available for preorder and in-person this year - more details coming soon!
Between November 28-December 20 take your tote bag with you as you do your holiday shopping. When you make a purchase at a participating business, you’ll receive a button. (Just tell them you’re doing the Shop Small Crawl when making your purchase.) If you can't find something you'd like you can purchase the button.
Collect all the buttons and turn in your bag in-person or email a photo of your completed tote and tote number to [email protected] by December 20th to enter to win the grand prize.
Don’t think you can finish it?
You can still win a prize! If you complete at least half the crawl, you're eligible to win the secondary prize. You'll turn your tote in the same way.
You can also get entries for sharing on social media! Just use the hashtag #shopsmallcrawlbc to share photos while you’re doing the crawl. You can also share the buttons you’ve collected and your purchases in the Shop Small Crawl Facebook group. Every time you share, you’re entered to win! We have some fun smaller prizes, like coffee, gift cards, + more.
