De vierkoppige formatie stond begin 2022 op en debuteerde in de Nederlandse scene met een intiem huiskamerconcert. Na een succesvolle Popronde en Eurosonic-show (door DvhN aangeschreven als
een van de 9 hoogtepunten) richtte de band in 2025 haar pijlen op het buitenland. Sindsdien heeft Shoom tours door het VK, de Balkan (ChangeOver festival) en Denemarken (SPOT festival) achter zich. Shoom is op stoom.

Shoom is a rabid raccoon, chasing a final, heavenly high through an instrumental fever dream of bizarre rhythms, loud guitars, and screaming saxophone solos.
The four-piece kicked off their career in 2022 with a series of intimate living room concerts. Since then, shoom played Dutch showcase ESNS, and toured the UK, Denmark (SPOT festival) and Balkan area (ChangeOver Belgrade). shoom showcases influences from all corners of music: from black midi
to Charlie Parker and from Clube Da Esquina to Talking Heads.

Dura Mater: Dura Mater are a groove focused, experimental collective formed at the University of Nottingham and now based in South London. Incorporating elements of Avant Garde Jazz, Funk, Folk and Krautrock channelled through a tight rhythm section, energetic brass, jagged guitars and violin through samplers.
Divorce Attorney: Divorce Attorney is an Art Punk group based in the UK. Using layered harmonies and unique synthesisers they create a unique and entrancing sound.
