Join a Team During Shirley’s House of Hope “Run for Hope”MARSHFIELD, WI – Shirley’s House of Hope’s (SHOH) “Run for Hope” will be Saturday, April 25th, 2026 at 9:00am at the Wildwood Park Pavilion (located at 1800 S Roddis Ave, Marshfield). Registration is from 8am – 9am.
Springtime is right around the corner! It's time to get your walking /running shoes out as our Fourth Annual Run for Hope is coming soon. Always held the last Saturday of April, this year’s event will be held Saturday, April 25th from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. What’s unique about this peer-to-peer event is that the competition is not for the fastest completion time. Instead, runners/walkers will be competing to see who can raise the most support from their friends and family.
Registration fees cover only a small portion of our goal, which this year is $56,000. Each runner is encouraged to raise $1,000 to help end domestic abuse and drug addiction. For every $100 that each participant raises, s/he will receive one entry into a drawing for a Wisconsin Dells Waterpark Package. Top fundraisers will win prizes that have been donated by businesses in our community.
Registration is open Saturday, February 14th. You can register as an individual, family, or as a team. All participants who sign up before March 31st will receive a free Run for Hope t-shirt. Also joining us this year with the planning will be students from the UW-Stevens Point Sentry School of Business & Economics MBA - Project Management.

PIZZA PARTY / FUNDRAISING SEMINAR
Participants are invited to a Pizza "Kick off" Party and Fundraising Seminar! SHOH is hosting pizza and an informational seminar at Shirley's Transitional Housing Building (Building D) on March 9th at 5:30pm, located at 1316D North Hume Ave., Marshfield, WI. Come and learn how to get signed up and gather support, as well as hear the impact of your partnership from one of our students in the Recovery Program. Call or email to sign up.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS
We have several opportunities for your business, organization or church to partner with us on this event.
• Sponsorship: please consider being a sponsor for the 2026 Run for Hope! Each package includes opportunities for us to promote your organization and free registration to the run/walk. • Donate prizes and/or raffle baskets: the top runners and fundraisers for different age levels will receive a special prize from the community; and we will be selling raffle tickets for gift baskets to raise extra money.
• Loot Bag items: we are also looking for items that can be included in a Loot Bag that will be handed out to each participant. Some examples of items include: snacks (beef or cheese sticks, granola bars, etc.), drinks (bottled water), business coupons (restaurant, business), or logo items (lip balm, note pads, stress balls). To donate Loot Bag items, there should be at least 150 of each.
• Display our flyer: if you have a community board in your business or church, please consider posting our flyer! Call our office to receive one.
