Kick off Laramie Jubilee Days with a true Wyoming tradition!
The Shirley Lilley Memorial Kids Horse Show has been a beloved part of Jubilee Days since 1976. Established by Shirley Lilley, the 1951 Miss Laramie Jubilee, this event continues to bring generations of Albany County families together year after year.
Many of today’s participants are the children — and even grandchildren — of past competitors, making this a one-of-a-kind event rooted in community, tradition, and a love for horses.
For over 46 years, Shirley personally organized and ran the show before passing it on to her family to carry on the legacy. Today, it remains a true family event and a meaningful way to celebrate the start of Laramie Jubilee Days.
Bring the whole family out to the Albany County Fairgrounds and enjoy a morning of young riders, horsemanship, and Western tradition.
