SHINE Conference/Conferencia de Shine

We invite you to join us for the SHINE Conference on March 1st! The Shine Conference is a diocesan-wide gathering for all those doing the works of social ministry, living out the Catholic social teachings of the Church, and/or are interested in learning about ways to engage in the social teaching of the Church. The theme of this year's conference is Accompaniment and Advocacy: Walking with the People of God. Synodality walks a path that leads to Solidarity and Advocacy speaks the stories of Relationship.

Mass will be presided by Bishop Knestout.

The day will include breakout sessions on topics such as CRS, Pr*son Ministry, Migrant Ministry, Social Ministry Community Organizing, and Synodality and Advocacy.

¡Le invitamos a la Conferencia de Shine el 1 de marzo! La Conferencia de Shine es una reunión diocesana para todos aquellos que sirven en ministerio social, viven las enseñanzas sociales católicas de la Iglesia y/o están interesados ​​en aprender sobre las diferentes formas de como participar en la enseñanza social de la Iglesia. El tema de la conferencia de este año es Acompañamiento y Abogacía: Caminando con el Pueblo de Dios. La sinodalidad recorre un camino que conduce a la solidaridad y la abogacía habla de las historias de quienes la viven.

La misa será celebrada por el obispo Knestout.

El día incluirá sesiones de breakout con temas sobre el Catholic Relief Services (CRS), la pastoral penitenciaria, pastoral migratoria, organización comunitaria del ministerio social, y la sinodalidad y abogacía.
