About This Event
Shine Boulder City is a community-wide volunteer day dedicated to caring for and celebrating our Historic Downtown District.
This event has been selected as an official Nevada Gives service project through America 250 Nevada, recognizing Boulder City’s commitment to volunteerism, civic pride, and community care as our nation approaches its 250th anniversary.
Volunteers will work together on projects throughout the Historic Downtown District, including:
• Window cleaning for participating downtown businesses
• Cleaning and refreshing community benches and statues
• Light cleaning and litter pickup
• Sidewalk and street refresh
• W**d removal
• Landscaping and planting support
• Team-based beautification projects
Volunteer Check-In
All volunteers must check in between 7:00 and 7:30 AM at South Escalante Park to:
• Sign in
• Receive assignments
• Pick up supplies
• Receive day-of instructions
Volunteers arriving after 7:30 AM may experience delays in assignment.
Volunteer Requirements
• Volunteers must be 18 years or older, or ages 14–17 with a parent or legal guardian present
• Each participant must complete an individual registration and waiver
• Children under 14 are not permitted to participate
This is a great opportunity for families with teens, churches, service clubs, school groups, sports teams, and local organizations to serve together and make a visible impact in our community.
If you are registering as a group, each participant must complete an individual registration form.
T-shirts will be provided to registered volunteers.
