Shinden Fudō Ryū Tasmania Gasshuku 2027

An intensive 5 day Gasshuku in Tasmania at the Bushinden Dōjō and surrounding,parklands,
beaches,forests and mountains.
Training locations:
- Bushinden Dōjō Keiko ( indoor practice )
- Takigyô ( Waterfall purification )
- Umi geiko ( Seaside practice )
- Yama Geiko ( Half day hike and practice )
- Koen Keiko ( Parkland practice )
- Yakan tōsō ( Night hike and practice )

- Shinden Fudô Ryû Dakentaijutsu
- Shinden Fudô Ryû Jūtaijutsu
- Shinden Fudô Ryû Bukijutsu
- Atemi Tanren
- Takigyô
- Meiso
- Misogi
- Shiatsu

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Shinden Fudō Ryū Bushinden Tasmania Dōjō Uniform ( white keiko-gi & black hakama ).
- Budô Taijutsu uniform ( black keiko-gi )
Indoor cotton soled tabi
- Jika tabi ( outdoor rubber sole tabi ) or flip flops/japanese sandals etc.
- Mogito ( alloy blunt training sword for Battojutsu )
- Other training weapons supplied by the Dōjō.
TAKIGYÔ
We will do a short hike with meditation and Takigyô ( waterfall practice ).
Clothing:
Hiking shoes, gaiters, small backpack, bathers ,white light cotton training karate uniform, water bottle, snacks, flip flops for waterfall, towel, medication.
YAMA GEIKO ( weather dependent )
We will do a half day hike with meditation and Misogi ( water purification practice ).
Clothing:
Hiking shoes, gaiters, small backpack, bathers ,training uniform, water, snacks, flip flops, towel, wet weather gear, warm coat, medication and walking Stick/Jo/Zue.
YAKAN TÔSÔ
Clothing: Hiking shoes, gaiters, small backpack, water, snacks, wet weather gear, warm coat, medication, torch and walking Stick/Jo/Zue.
