Join Chloe and Omega for their special Saturday workshop series!
In this Saturday workshop we will be having fun with one of the most iconic instruments in bellydance; tabla! Come get your hips moving with us!
SCHEDULE:
“Shimmies & Hip Drops” with Chloe: 1:30-2:30pm Learn new combos and ways to rock your shimmies and hip drops in bellydance! Practice different pathways to layer these movements, make them richer and add new vocabulary to your dancing.
“Drum Solo Choreography” with Omega: 2:45-3:45pm Learn a short segment of a drum solo choreography that includes both the expected (hip drops, isolations, and shimmies) and the unexpected (how to not just dance in one spot and some creative accents).
