SHIFT art exhibition
About this Event
New sculptures, wall panels and art jewellery pieces made by Sarah Drew who's based in St Austell, Cornwall: she's made work that honours the experience of bringing up her sons, and remembers what it was like but also recognises the shift in purpose and role, to being a mother and a person now that they've grown up.
Amy Barker is based in Dunkeswell, Devon and paints big, bold still lifes, abstracts and landscapes drawing on her experience bringing up her children along the coast in Devon and holidays in the South of France.
They're sisters inlaw so shared many of these experiences being mothers together.
Sarah will also Motherhood poetry zine at the private view on Sunday 2nd August, kindly supported by a grant from the Q Fund
Cocktails and mocktails will be served from 6pm on 2nd August, everyone is welcome!
