Shibui is a brand of Japanese whiskies that are known for their unique blending and use of multiple cask types, including rare Japanese Mizunara oak, ex-bourbon, and sherry casks. The brand uses both traditional Japanese whiskey grains and rice-based distil-lates, with some expressions aged in both Japanese and Scotch regions like Scotland.

Unique blending: Shibui blends whiskies from different Japanese regions, and in some cases, includes Scotch from Scotland.

Diverse cask selection: The brand uses a variety of aging barrels, including European virgin white oak, American oak ex-bourbon, Oloroso sherry, Fino sherry, Manzanilla sherry, and rare Japanese mizunara oak.

Variety of expressions: Shibui offers different types of whiskies, such as single grain, grain select (a blend of wheat and malted barley), and pure malt. Some expressions are made from 100% rice using a unique Okinawan fermentation process.
