Shibari 101 & 102

This is a two-day weekend event.

September 20, 2025

101: We begin with a high-level discussion around different types of rope, safety, risk, consent, boundaries, body awareness, tips for bottoms/models, etc., before diving into rope drills! We then learn variations of the single column tie, double column ties, how to connect your rope, and how to utilize these skills in a playful scene!

September 21, 2025

102: Now that you've gotten your knots and foundational ties down, let's build on it! In 102, we learn about tensioning, lock-offs, the construction of a basic harness, and learn how to add a little extra spice to a tie.

Note: 101 is a prerequisite to 102. Students will not have the option of purchasing tickets to 102 without taking 101.
