Are you a woman* working in digital, tech, or creative industries?

Come and join us for an evening with our fantastic speakers, talking about their extraordinary journeys in work and life.

We are celebrating International Women's Day!

Come and be inspired, make connections, and learn something new. More speakers to be announced very soon.

We honoured to hear from Lucy Davies who joined Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival as CEO in January 2025. She was previously Executive Director and co-CEO at London's Young Vic Theatre and spent nine years as Executive Producer at London's Royal Court Theatre, producing over 100 world premiere productions. Lucy is also Co-Chair of Soho Theatre Walthamstow and has been recognised within the industry as both a Creative Climate Leader and Creative Green Champion.

We’re delighted to welcome Fiona MacNeill, a researcher, designer, technologist, and the founder of Macknowlogist, a tech consultancy specialising in strategic design for learning and sustainable change. Fiona is a steward and former chapter leader for LTUX Brighton, a group that amplifies the voices of underrepresented people in UX-related fields. They also co-organise Green Software Brighton and the Learning Futures meetup. Fiona is known for building inclusive communities and championing accessible and sustainable digital experiences.

We’re excited to welcome Carolyn McMurray, founder of GenZ Copywriters and Word Tonic. Carolyn is a dynamic writer and creative leader who has built a thriving global community for young and emerging copywriters. She is passionate about fresh, bold, youth-driven storytelling and has helped countless writers develop their voice, confidence and careers. Through her work, Carolyn champions originality, clarity and the power of words to cut through noise and create real impact, making her a standout figure in the next generation of creative talent.

Hosted by Rifa Thorpe-Tracey, a highly accomplished coach and founder of Refigure Ltd, with a focus on teaching women to create their big vision. With over 25 years of consulting experience, Rifa has won numerous awards and accolades for her work, as well as contributing to publications such as The Times and CNN. Rifa is also the driving force behind SheSays Brighton, Spring Forward Festival (and Women of Colour Brighton), which attract hundreds of people from the digital and creative industries each year. Rifa empowers women* not just to uplift themselves but to thrive and create change in the world. Her teachings focus on helping clients gain clarity and generate abundance.

We can't wait to see you there, any questions drop us an email [email protected]

*This event is mainly for women and anyone who identifies as a woman. Trans women are women. Non-binary, gender-queer people are very welcome at all our events. Men too.
