Shepherd’s Rest Studio Mother's Day Collaboration with TR Makers Co.

Shepherd's Rest Studio is a pop-up faith-based art studio located in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. We offer diverse workshops rooted in Scripture, backed by timeless techniques of engaging with creation and creativity and community.

We are excited to partner with TR Makers Co. for this special Mother's Day themed workshop. This particular Pop-Up Workshop in May will be a gift to mother's of all ages to create in community and paint a collaborative floral mural as we reflect on the beautiful and challening journey of motherhood. We will focus on the "Painting with Florals" theme as we explore how growth takes time, blooms do not come year round, and what happens beneath the surface matters. As Ruth Simons says, "You don't have to be blooming to be growing."

Refreshments and supplies are included in your ticket and you will go home with everything needed to start on your journey of building new habits of creativity and processing in a gentle approach rooted in rest.
Many of us moms need to slow down, take a break from the hustle and engage with Scripture in a new, creative way. Maybe we need to rest with our Shepherd in order to find that spark again as moms. Maybe we need enough quiet and to sit with beauty to hear from Him about the good things He is already growing in our lives.
Paints, brushes, palletes, and everything you need will be provided. You are also welcome to bring your own favorite supplies. We will be creating together on a large mural communal paper.
