Join us for a delightful crafting experience in our Shepherd's Hook Bookmark Class. In this workshop, you'll learn to create a beautiful and functional bookmark using a shepherd's hook design, perfect for marking your place in any book with a touch of elegance. Under the guidance of Instructor Richelle Shriver, Owner of Inkspiration by Richelle, you'll learn how to decorate and personalize your bookmark. From selecting charms and beads to mastering the art of assembly, you'll have the freedom to create a piece that reflects your unique style.
All materials needed to create one shepherd's hook bookmark will be provided, including a selection of charms, beads, and tools. Store-purchased, beads “reclaimed” from old jewelry pieces, and handmade beads will be available, but participants are also welcome to bring their own beads. If you have attended a bead-making class with Richelle, feel free to bring your beads along to aid in creating an even more unique and special bookmark.
No previous crafting experience is necessary, making this class ideal for beginners and seasoned crafters alike. This class is perfect for ages 12 and up. Younger creators are welcome to attend with an adult to assist them.

Cost for class: $20 nonmembers/$16 members plus $8 materials fee payable to Laurel Arts
Location: Laurel Arts at 601 Georgian Place, Somerset.
Preregistration is required. Call/Text 814-442-6217 or call Laurel Arts at 814-443-1835 to register by September 14. We do ask for 50% of the fees to be paid at the time of registration. We can take credit card by phone or stop in at either location to pay with cash or check.
