The Theology of True Beauty will be presented and debuted at the Theology on Tap series in Front Royal. O'Maria Akpati, True Beauty advocate, and author of the upcoming book "The Theology of True Beauty," will be unveiling the truth about our God-given self-image.
She will shed light on this topic using her experiences as a former celebrity makeup artist and Discalced Carmelite nun with insights on what she learned within the cloister and without.
Some of the questions O'Maria shall examine are: How can a man be considered beautiful? What is the difference between beauty and attractiveness? In what way is there actually a true and false beauty?
Come get ready to laugh, deeply smile, hopefully cry, and be moved towards the Sacred Hearts. BIO: O’Maria is your pentalingual Nigerian sister in true beauty, hailing from the fertile land of Nigeria, West Africa. After a sizzling would-be career in medicine (orthopaedic surgery to be exact), she explored life as a makeup artist for over a decade.

Shenandoah Valley TOT is held on a third Tuesday every quarter. The January 21 event will be held at Honey and Hops Brew Works located at 212 E Main St. A, Front Royal, VA 22630. It is hosted in partnership with Young Adults of St. John the Baptist and Sacred Heart Young Adults.
All adults (ages 19-35) single and married of all faith backgrounds are invited.
Socializing and drinks begin at 6:30 p.m. and the talk begins at 7:30 p.m.
